UNIQUE
- Our Upright Piano Shells are made from real pianos we gather and convert for you and your keyboard. Unlike our competitors, our Upright Shells are 100% authentic and unique pianos we have professionally gutted, cleaned and converted into a lightweight shell for you to love for years. Each one has it’s own unique imperfections and style to help you look as good and unique as you sound. Made perfect for the stage and home.

CABLE MANAGEMENT
- Plenty of space to help you look clean and professional from any angle. We’ve got a cutout on both the left and right side of the bottom for you to tame the madness. There is also plenty of platform in the bottom for you to mount any hardware or DI boxes.

MOVING & CARRYING
- We install 2” casters that make it easy to roll around the stage or home. Our Upright Piano Shells are light enough to be picked up by 2 regular people. We regularly pick them up and place them in the back of SUVs if that helps give an idea that you don’t have to be the Hulk.

LEG BRACES
- We build leg braces to ensure the fragile front legs are no longer fragile. We stain them as similar a color as possible to the original piano and you’ll never know they weren’t original when we’re done.

FEEL THE FELT
- We cut and install black felt in the keybed to give your keyboard the soft and sooth feel of the throne it deserves. We also sometimes sign and write funny messages on the wood beneath the felt that you’ll never see. Here’s to you wondering if we signed yours.

HOW DO WE KNOW YOU’LL LOVE IT?
Three reasons.
(1) We use our own Upright Piano Shells. Kelby (one of the owners) is a touring artist and uses our Upright Shells in his shows when it fits the vibe. He’s into it.
(2) We’ve thought through every aspect of your Upright Shell and Wesley (our other owner who is the master in the woodshop) works hard to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth. Placing our name on your Upright Shell means believing in its quality.
(3) This is so much nicer than an XFrame. Trust us.

Our Upright Piano Shells are real pianos, so they vary between their weight and dimensions.

KEYBED
The maximum keybed width is typically around 54.5”. Therefore, we typically can fit a keyboard around 54.25” wide or smaller.

HEIGHT
We like to gather console and shorter pianos to prepare. Typically the height is around 40” - 42”. This is also effected by the caster height.

WEIGHT
While we do not have an industrial scale to weigh our Upright Piano Shells, we typically have found them to be between 150-200 pounds after completion.

Our Upright Piano Shells start at $2000.

We offer painting on most of our Upright Piano Shells for an additional fee. This is typically $500 extra.

We install 2” locking casters by default. These are great for most situations like churches or when you are not traveling much with the piano shell.

If you are touring, you may want to consider 3+” casters to ensure the weight of bouncing in the trailer and load ins and outs. Upgrading your casters is only a $25 additional fee and of course adds a touch of height.

FREE PICKUP
We offer free pickup of our piano shells at our storage unit located in West Nashville.

CARTAGE IN GREATER NASHVILLE
We offer cartage to the Greater Nashville Area for a fee, with a minimum of $100.

FREIGHT SHIPPING
Upright Shells are shipped via freight and typically costs $800+. This includes a crate to be built for shipping. Shipping to a residence, business or freight terminal are options for your delivery with varying fees. Contact us for a freight shipping quote.

INTERNATIONAL
International Shipping our Upright Shells is not an option at this time.
